My eye is editorial, but my approach is archival. I’m not just here to capture your day. I’m here to keep it, the way my grandfather kept his, and my father kept his, so that one day, someone in your family might sit with your photographs the way I once sat with theirs.

That thread never really let go of me. Through my teens, I found my way into every art class I could: painting, film, photography; chasing the same feeling I’d had when I was eleven: the quiet thrill of building a moment worth keeping.

Now I photograph weddings across California and beyond, and that instinct hasn’t changed. I’m still drawn to the details other people might rush past; the way light falls across a room before anyone’s ready, the in-between moments no one thought to stage. 

My grandfather was a film photographer, and that love passed down to my father; a whole life spent behind the lens, printed and kept. I remember sneaking into my dad’s closet, where his cameras lived like small treasures, and pulling my two-year-old sister into whatever world I’d dreamed up that day. I’d pose her, build elaborate little backgrounds out of nothing, and photograph her like she was the only person in it. I was eleven. I didn’t yet know I was learning a craft; I just knew I loved making something beautiful, memorable, and lasting.
